YLCGA are holding a one day workshop designed to help Clubs develop a pathway to introduce more Women into Golf

Emma Brown was the winner of the English Senior Women’s Order of Merit, thanks to a 3rd-place finish at The R&A Women’s Senior Amateur Championship.
Emma, was pipped in the semi-finals of the English Senior Women’s Amateur, in what was another impressive year for the Yorkshire golfer.
She said: “I was delighted to win the Order of Merit this year. I only played two of the events but did okay in the English Senior Women’s Amateur Championship at the Nottinghamshire and then finished 3rd in the British Senior Amateur at Walton Heath which took me to the top of the OOM!
“I’ve struggled at the end of the season with a knee injury and very disappointingly had to miss the England team events. I’m certainly now looking forward to getting back out enjoying my golf in 2026.”
The final of the 2025 County Foursomes took place at Scarcroft GC.
60 pairs took part and the winners were Angela Clappison and Carole Perry from Hornsea GC

Congratulations to Vicky Jordan of Ilkley on winning the 2025 YLCGA Challenge Trophy.
Played at Ilkley GC, Vicky defeated fellow Ilkley member Caroline Spellman 3 & 1 in an exciting final after 3 days of stroke and match play rounds.

Congratulations to Katie Stephens of Middlesbrough GC , winner of the 2025 YLCGA Championship.
After 3 days of fabulous golf at Huddersfield GC, Katie triumphed in the final by defeating defending Champion, Grace Lambert of Hessle GC, 4 and 3.
It was a great final played in good spirit and camaraderie. by both players befitting of a Championship Final

Just 5 days into the 125 Hole in One Captains Challenge for the 2025 Season, the first Hole in One was achieved by Barbara Farmer of Meltham Golf Club.
It was on the 148 Yard 5th Hole - Fantastic achievement
